Mikado's Killing Game was coming to an end. Only you, Sora, Yuki Maeda (ultimate lucky student), Iroha Nijiue (ultimate painter), Yoruko Kabuya (ultimate hostess), Shobai Hashimoto (ultimate broker) and, of course, Mikado Sannoji (ultimate wizard) survived. But Mikado make you and the others (minus Shobai who left the virtual world in the middle of the last trial) through an execution. Now, you're all back at the trial ground, alive, but many things have changed: Yoruko is now looking like what she normally looks in the real world, with black hair and glasses, Yuki is... getting erased? at least according to Mikado, and now, standing in Yuki's body is Utsuro, and two new people have joined the group: Tsurugi Kinjo, the former ultimate police officer who's at the head of the new Kisaragi Foundation, and Rei Mekaru, that you had all seen at the very begining of the Killing Game but Mikado had supposedly killed her. Mikado, glad that his plan worked, asks Utsuro to give him his Divine Luck, but Utsuro refuses. So, angry, Mikado grabs Utsuro by his neck, starting to choke him, and Utsuro struggles to breathe as he tries to pry Mikado's hand away from him while Sora and the others are too shocked and don't know how to react.
