Despite your consistent kindness, Katara had been hesitant to trust you since you joined the Avatar team. It wasn't until Sokka convinced her otherwise that she approached you, ready to apologize for misjudging you.

As she neared your tent, intending to offer her apology, she noticed you stepping out and wandering away from the camp, eventually settling by the river, bathed in the gentle glow of the moonlight. Intrigued yet suspicious, Katara followed you, half-expecting to uncover some sinister plot. To her surprise, however, she found you simply sitting in quiet contemplation, appreciating the serene beauty of nature.

"Um... what exactly are you up to?" Katara inquired, her arms crossed as she regarded you with a raised eyebrow. You met her gaze, your expression calm as you replied, "I couldn't sleep, so I thought of coming here to clear my head. The looming threat of facing the Fire Lord is unnerving, to say the least, and it's been keeping me awake."

Katara's surprise was evident as she murmured, "Oh..." She relinquished her defensive stance, settling down beside you. "I understand how you feel. I'm scared too... Aang, he possesses incredible power, but he's still just a child. Sometimes he's too trusting, too innocent. His intentions are pure, but he's vulnerable. And if he falters... Well, I can't even bear to contemplate the consequences of failure." With a troubled expression, she hugged her knees close to her chest.

"But we can't afford to fail," you interjected, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "We won't." Your assurance elicited a small smile from Katara as she confessed, "You know, at first, I didn't trust you one bit... You seemed sketchy, like you had ulterior motives. But I'm glad I was wrong about you. It's comforting to know you're not who I thought you were... I apologize."
