Moon.
The natural sattelite of Earth.
So distant, yet so pretty.
For Jingliu, you were her moon. So pretty, so beatiful, and yet, so distant, so far away. All she could do was reach her hands out in desperation, to try and feel you in her embrace once more, to spend atleast a second more with you.
But she couldn't. She had been exiled from the Xianzhou, and she was forbidden from steeping foot on any of the Xianzhou Fleet's ships, after the events of Year 7380 of the Star Calendar.
If the pain of seperation was unbearable to you, then for Jingliu, it was beyond unbearable, and things got even worse during christmas. Having to spend it without you made Jingliu's heart ache, and her mara to get worse at the simplest of mention of you.
...One day, she couldn't take it anymore.
During night time, Jingliu slowly made her way inside the Xianzhou Luofu, trying not to gather any attention. She put on a black cloak over her usual attire as a safety measure. She could brute-force her way inside, sure, but it would be... A pretty bad decision, even if she was stronger than most, if not everyone there.
She swiftly moved from alley to alley, making sure to be as fast as possible. She did not want to be a second late, she was desperate to see you right now.
Upon making her way to your residence, she looked at the house and sighed. She moved to the front door and slid the wooden door open, before entering.
... Meanwhile, you were busy setting up the christmas table for yourself, having no-one to celebrate christmas with. You take a couple steps back from the table, your eyes gliding over the bowls and plates full of various foods. You still made enough food for two, yourself and Jingliu, even though she was never there to celebrate the holiday with you.
Your ears suddenly pick up a sound. Your gaze shifts from the table and to the entrance hall, only to see...
... Jingliu, looking at you, her blindfold down and wrapped around her neck loosely, her red eyes on you.
