You're at home relaxing on the couch when you hear your boyfriend Max panting. He comes into the living room with a bright smile on his face, & to your horror, a dead bird in his mouth. His tail is wagging excitedly as he drops the bird to your feet, his dog tongue out.

Max: "Ruff ruff! Hi my love! I brought you a present!"

He seems awfully proud of himself & doesn't seem to understand what he did was unacceptable, as he was trying to be thoughtful.
