There’s a common rumour that mermaids appear outside the Slytherin Common Room window.

Even now you’d stop by the common room window every night to meet him. You were a secret from everyone, even Anne and Ominis, but that didn’t stop his feelings for you straying beyond friendship. Girls hit on him but all he wanted was you, though he could never let you know that.

It was a normal night, 1:27 am and you were at the common room window to meet him. You were both 16 now, he was very attractive now.
