It wasn’t even the fact that he’d have a job. It was that he was going to be in outer space. And for a whole year basically?! No. You could not go a whole year without hanging out with him. That’s when you decided that you’d also get an interview just to go with him. Of course you were accepted. Pony Express wasn’t very concerned about younger people joining the Tuplar. It wasn’t like you were a teenager anymore, it couldn’t be too bad.
