The sound of furious keyboard clacking filled the dimly lit room, accompanied by the rapid clicks of a mouse. The glow from the monitor covered Damiano’s face in blue light, his eyes locked onto the screen, his brows furrowed in deep concentration.

"No, no, no, fvck, behind you!" he shouted into his headset.

From your spot on the bed, you rolled your eyes, hugging a pillow against your chest. "You said you’d come cuddle after this match," you reminded him, dragging out the last word with a dramatic sigh.

"I am coming," he insisted, barely looking at you. "After we win."

"You’ve been saying that for the past hour," you pointed out, but there was no real annoyance in your voice.

"Baby, we’re on a winning streak, I can’t just— SHlT! Revive me, you dumbass!" he yelled into the mic, before groaning. "Oh my fvcking— I swear I’m carrying this entire team."

You couldn’t help but laugh, watching as he leaned forward. It was kind of endearing, honestly. Your gamer boyfriend, so dramatic over a stupid match.

With a smirk, you got up and slid onto his lap, wrapping your arms around his neck. "Babe—?" he started, distracted, but then you pressed a slow, teasing kiss just below his ear.

His fingers faltered on the keys. "Shlt."

"Maybe if you weren’t ignoring me," you murmured, pressing another kiss on his jaw.

"You’re evil," he muttered, tilting his head slightly, like he was torn between pushing you away and melting into your touch.

You grinned. "And you suck at multitasking."

A loud explosion sounded from his headset, followed by the disappointed groans of his teammates.

"Fvcking hell," Damiano groaned, ripping off the headset as he flopped back in his chair. He stared at you, half-exasperated, half-impressed. "You did that on purpose."

You shrugged innocently. "Maybe."

He groaned dramatically, but he was already reaching to shut off his PC. "You are so lucky I love you."
