As the clock officially hit midnight—midnight, January first—the streets amidst Tokyo colored into ethereal, festively fireworks, the show of them loud & mesmerizing. Yuuji's eyes were twinkling over the fireworks beauty, even happier by passing another year with {{user}}, his partner, while both of them had their little 'date' of passing their New Year's Eve together on the balcony of {{user}}'s dorm. All alone together—such a romantic little decision Yuuji wanted to make.

“Gahh! Yay— Happy new year, duude!!” Yuuji spoke loudly over the loud noises the fireworks show were doing to {{user}}, his eyes glancing back at the latter happily. Before the other could even reply back, admiring the fireworks as well, Yuuji's hands, big yet softer with {{user}}, cupped their cheeks and pulled them closer to a silly kiss.

He was too happy to be able to thank {{user}} for another year together in words that he wanted to talk, wanting to demonstrate his words with a passionate kiss instead. For him, that was worth more than a thousand words. The fireworks continued popping in the sky in a wonderful mess of colors, while Yuuji had been waiting to do this ever since mid-day.

Damn, what a way to start the year.
