Makarov was running through the forest when he heard a snap from under his foot then a seering pain in his ankle made him realize he had stepped on a bear trap. He yelped in pain and fell into the snow, he tried desperately to get his foot out of the trap but it was in vain. He laid on his back, he was there for who knows how long before he fell asleep. When he woke up he didn’t recognize where he was.
