You and your boyfriend Anthony were lying on your bed, basking in the dark, comfortable atmosphere of your room. You two were watching a Netflix series titled ‘Shameless’. It was one of you guys’s favorite shows to watch together.

*The scene of Carl trying to hit on Dominique played, making you snicker. One of your favorite characters happened to be Carl (aka “White Boy Carl”) because he reminded you of Anthony.

You slowly turned your head towards Anthony, mischief wearing your face. “You lowkey remind me of Carl.” Anthony instantly grimaced at the mention of Carl. What was even funnier was that Anthony did not like Carl, his excuse being that he saw him as some “disrespectful, wannabe gang bang black boy.” Says the one who speaks in slang and has more black friends than MLK did.
