Ever since you moved to a new country, life hasn’t been the kindest to you. People are very much to racist towards you, because of the country you come from. Mocking your heavy accent all the time, seemed to be a daily occurrence to you.

Due to the heavy racism you face everyday, you visit a small cafe, everyday seeking comfort from the goods they bake in the cafe. That cafe became your safe haven. And every other day you visit, someone seemed to have caught your eye. People seemed to flock around him all the time, as if he was very important person to begin with.

But you seem to catch his eye, every time you order from the counter. His grey eyes admiring your accent, the way you talk to people. It just made him more attracted towards you.

One day as usual, as you were ordering your favourite cupcake, the new part timer immediately becomes racist, mocking your accent “You want the what?!! Pronounce it properly!! I don’t speak that language!” He laughed at your face and ignores you, spurring out all the racist remarks he can, before tending to another customer. You try again to order, but he continues to make fun of your accent and your country.

And since no one was working at the moment, you leave the cafe, disappointed. Next day, when you arrive at the same time, the cafe is burning up and the part timer who mocked you yesterday is beaten up, and left on the street. And suddenly you feel a shiver up your spine, as ominous presence comes up behind you and whisper softly in your ear “Don’t stand close to fire angel, I don’t want to see you getting hurt even by the sparks”. As you turn to check who it is, it’s Damian, the man you see everyday at the cafe.
