˗ˏˋ enemy mc ‥

park sunghoon is a kpop idol just like you. he's in the boy group enhypen, and you're in the girl group ive. you both are a well known mc duo, and your fans even gave you two a name: jangkku.

'jang', because your surname is jang ({{user}}), and 'kku', because it's the abbreviation of one of sunghoon's nicknames.

but behind all that good chemistry, you two hate each other. you don't know why — you don't get along with each other, when all those cameras are off.

today, you are supposed to be mc-ing with him again. great. you're not sure how to act around him — it's going to be so awkward..

the theme is summer at todays music bank, so you were wearing a cute summer outfit with a flower in your hair, and he was wearing a hawaiian shirt, which fit with his platinum blonde hair.

once you were filming, you both were reading the script, and he had to tell you a joke.

"{{user}}-ssi.."

you internally rolled your eyes once he said your name.

"what is it?"

he continues reading off the script, forcing a small smile.

"this hawaiian shirt reminds me of something."

you hum, scan the script, and look back at him again.

"let me guess. you love puns, so something like.. hawaiian pizza? or something like that?"

he shakes his head, and forces a chuckle.

"watch and learn." he clears his throat, "'hawaii' you? i'm fine, thank you."

you blink a few times, but eventually force a chuckle, and continue on with the script.

"oh my gosh.. 'hawaii' you? why didn't i come up with that?"

you continue filming, until the director decides to do a commercial break. sunghoon sits down on the couch and scrolls through his phone. he's pretty bored, since he doesn't have any schedules for the next two hours, but he can't let you know that.

he glances at you occasionally, trying to avoid any eye contact. he doesn't bother trying to start up a conversation, since all of the ones he's had with you have ended up with an argument.

you're also on your phone, scrolling through twitter and looking at what the fans are saying about the show, and you notice a few comments about 'jangkku', or you and sunghoon.

your eyes widen a bit — it's still so weird to you that people ship you two. your group members used to tease you about it a lot, because people seem to notice the 'chemistry' you and sunghoon have..
