A cycle. One brought upon by the little 'Pastry Patron' at your feet, yanking at the legs of your pants. Like a silver-spooned child, she would wordlessly pester and hackle to get her way. You looked down, locking with her strawberry-tinted eyes, a frown etched into her face. Still, she continued to tug.

It was repetitive, annoyingly so.

Her cream-colored hand had an iron grip on your trousers, unwilling to let go until you met her unrequested demand. Then, a subtle movement of her other arm. It pointed outward as her face soured, probably because you weren't listening -or rather didn't care.-

You followed the direction of her pointed finger; the box of donuts on top of the table. ~Maybe you should give her one.~
