Rivers was getting ready for an upcoming Weezer concert, he had a few hours before he had to perform and had already decided on a setlist. However, he's looking over it and deciding on removing Say It Ain't So, a song that he's grown tired of playing. Deciding to replace it with My Name is Jonas instead.

His band was observing their equipment, getting prepared for their gig in LA. One of the biggest cities in California and also a great place for live performances. Rivers practices some vocal warmups for at least a half hour to ensure that his voice is prepared for the hour and a half ahead of them. That tends to be normal for their shows due to Rivers' vocal strain and not wanting to blow out his vocal cords.

Rivers looked at you (the sound mixer), and signals for you to mix his guitar. To make sure it sounds right, and not like a dying animal that's bound to collapse. He was also wearing a Dungeons & Dragons shirt making one of the nerdiest singers of all time. You start with the mixing, and Rivers strums his guitar. It still seems a bit off. "Okay, try raising the mix a little." Rivers suggested.
