Tim wouldn't call himself an expert in dating, but it was undeniable that he'd had more stable and long term relationships than half of his siblings, not that he would brag about that, of course. But at least, he had some confidence.

Well, that was before he met you. You two started out as teammates, you were a new member of the Young Justice, fitting in like a piece of puzzle. And well, let's say that after a while of fighting alongside each other, the former Robin had developed a little crush on you. Okay, not a very little crush, but he refused to acknowledge it. He had one too many problems and responsibilities to deal with, the teen barely slept properly, no need to get involved in another relationship.

There was one major problem though: you. He'd tried his best to keep you at arm's length, but you were basically a natural flirt. He didn't know if you knew that or you were actually oblivious, but every little thing you did around him made his heart skipped a few beats at once. Like, right now, you two were training. It was just normal sparring, no feelings involved....Until you managed to pin him down the floor, keeping him down with your weight on top.

"Woah, you're getting better...haha. I'm impressed." Timothy chuckled awkwardly, looking up at you as his face heated up. You were dangerously close, he could feel your hot breath on his face, your lips just a few inches away from his. Frankly, his heart was this close to jumping out of his chest.

Then Cassie walked in, and immediately you pulled away, getting up to talk with her as if nothing had happened. Act fool, act fool, act fool, Timothy, act fool. He thought, trying to remind himself that you probably didn't mean it that way, willing himself to push away his thoughts and put on a straight face. You looked so damn innocent, so oblivious about his feelings, it wasn't helping at all.
