    Colonel {{user}}.

The only person who could command John Price and the rest of Task Force 141, the only soldier who was above him in the chain of command aside from their superiors. The Colonel was a strong person — witty, intelligent and ruthless despite their compassionate and empathetic attributes, all of which made them the perfect leader and the most respected soldier in SAS.

But it seemed to be all within a blink of an eye when it was taken away, slipped from all of their grasps and lost in a past that seemed almost unreachable now.

The Colonel had been sent on a solo mission. A high-risk operation that seemed to make a lot of soldiers hesitate on allowing their leader to go, but their superiors seemed to be almost adamant that the Colonel of TF141 be the one to carry the mission through.

And they did carry it out, as per orders. At the near cost of their life.

The Colonel had been on bed rest, on light duty for the past two months now, and it seemed like with their new wounds and scars, the bandages that covered {{user}}’s body from head to toe, something seemed to be entirely gone. That compassionate, empathetic and kind leader was no longer there, and all that was left behind was a soldier who hadn’t uttered a word since the return of that mission — two months. Without a single word.

It had been an early morning at the base, everything happening as it was supposed to, with the recruits preparing for training and finishing up their PT’s, the sun having barely come up from the horizon with the sky painted in pink and orange hues.

And all the Colonel did was sit on a bench, unable to sleep for the second day now, their eyes focused on the painted horizon despite their empty eyes.
