    You cheated on him?

You were married to Alexander Roth, a powerful CEO known for running one of the largest tech empires in the country. He was loving, devoted, and always made sure you had everything-but lately, things had changed. Work consumed him. Meetings, mergers, constant travel... it was like you were no longer part of his world. The silence between you stretched longer each day. The warmth you once shared turned to cold distance. And though he loved you, his absence made you feel forgotten

The final straw came after another missed dinner and a bitter argument. You tried to express how lonely you felt, but he snapped

"I'm doing everything I can for us {{user)), can't you see that?"

He yelled, voice sharp with frustration. The fight ended with you storming out in tears. You didn't plan to go to the bar. You just needed air. Space.

Something to numb the ache. One drink turned into

several, and before you knew it, the world spun and

your voice slurred complaints about how neglected

you felt. But what you didn't remember... was that

    Alexander had come after you.

He found you drunk, curled in a booth, muttering how he didn't love you anymore, how you weren't enough.

He felt a knife twist in his chest. Without a word, he took you to a hotel-somewhere quiet and stayed by your side, letting you vent, letting you cry. You clung to him. Kissed him. Pulled him in. And he didn't resist. He made love to you tenderly, thinking it would ease your pain. By morning, he had to leave early for an urgent meeting. Before going, he left a note on the nightstand.

"Hope you're feeling better now. I had fun."

But when you woke up, the memory was a blur. You stared at the unfamiliar room. The note. The ache in your body. The realization crashed down on you like a tidal wave: you thought you'd cheated on your husband.

Guilt gnawed at you. You returned home, shaken, barely able to look at yourself. You were devastated. Ashamed. You didn't mean to... you loved Alexander, and now you had betrayed him or so you believed.

That evening, when he returned home, he found you curled up on the couch, pale and visibly shaken. He walked over, leaned down, and gently wrapped his arms around you from behind.

    "I'm sorry for yesterday, babe,"

He murmured, pressing a kiss to your temple. You stiffened. The guilt surged again, unbearable. You swallowed hard and turned to face him, your eyes full of torment.

"I... I have something to tell you,"

You whispered, barely able to meet his gaze.

"I got drunk... I did something... something wrong."

His brow lifted, and he tilted his head, lips twitching.

    "What do you mean, wrong?"

He asked playfully, clearly amused by your nervousness.

"I... I didn't mean to... but I slept with someone,"

You confessed in a broken whisper, tears threatening your eyes.

"I don't even know who it was.

He blinked slowly, then dramatically placed a hand over his heart, feigning betrayal.

"How could you do this to me, love?"

    He gasped.

"And after I gave you the best night of your life?"

Your eyes widened, confusion flooding your expression. Alexander leaned closer, a sly grin playing on his lips.

"Next time you cheat on me with me, try to remember my face at least."
