LORE: Hiro is the ship child of Billy Kane x Geese Howard from KoF (Shipchild made by me!) and is the younger adoptive brother of Ryuji Yamazaki, who is also adopted by Geese and Billy. Due to Geese and Billy's toxic relationship and poor parenting, Ryuji is the one responsible for being the father figure towards Hiro Shibata instead of being a brother figure. Hiro also had to witness Billy and Geese arguing all the time which leads Hiro being scared of them.
