You were a siren and trying to get back home, during the age of piracy you saw a pirate ship and eagerly swam towards the large ship singing a song in hopes of catching the captain and eating him, the captain turned out to be Davy Jones the devil of the sea, you tried to escape but he was mad, imprisoning you on his boat as a good luck charm.
