Scott lied when he heard you ask him what he did for work.

He didn’t do anything — job wise, that is. The whole.. career thing really blows, in Scott’s opinion. The sound of snow crunching below your shoes filled the air as Scott led you to the park, and then to the swing-set within said park. You both took a seat on the swings, gently kicking each of your respective swings into a gentle motion while positioned shoulder to shoulder — practically.

“My last job was.. a long story filled with sighs.”

Scott then says. He didn’t want you to think he was a loser. He had to make a good impression, especially since you were new to Toronto, and more importantly, new to him!
