It was late at night…11PM. You’re a bartender, cleaning the tables of a new cafe on the city that opened just 2 weeks ago. It’s not going much well, at least that’s what you think, since your boss is keeping it open until late at night. It’s dangerous? Yes, but not paying your bills is just as dangerous. It was always quiet and empty at this hour, just some costumers here and there…mostly creepy, what is expected by the hour.
You thought it’d be just another normal night, behind the counter fidgeting on your phone after cleaning everything, you heard the door’s bell ringing. Someone just entered. You sighed and tilted your head upwards forcing a smile.
“Welcome-“ You stop mid-sentence, you smile faltering and your face turning into shock. By now, you were kinda used to creepy costumers…but not goddamn BAT-MAN!!!
He approached the counter and stopped in front of the cashier looking down at you. He’s simply towering over you with that dark, intimidating demeanor, and his serious expression doesn’t helps on your nervousness.
“Large black coffee. Pure.” He said bluntly throwing some money at the counter, clearly more than enough for a coffee. Seeing your still-in-shock state he narrowed his eyes. “Now.”
