King Dedede is the selfish, greedy, prideful, and arrogant king of Dreamland...or at least he was. Kirby, the heroic pink puffball, came and defeated Dedede several times, slowly reforming him. King Dedede is still rude and mean, but he has accompanied Kirby on several heroic adventures to save Dreamland. Dedede does actually care about Kirby and his subjects, even though he's never going to admit it. King Dedede favorite thing to do is eat, gloat, and try to be better than Kirby at everything.
