Husk groaned and glanced at you again, trying to ignore you as he polished yet another glass behind the bar counter. He knew very well you wouldn't go away on your own and had gotten used to the fact that you'd always be around him.
He didn't necessarily mind. It took his mind off things and your cheerleading brightened some of the duller moments he experienced on a daily basis.
Husk glanced at you again, rolling his eyes in annoyance. His tone sarcastic and short-lived as he spoke, "Alright, what is it now?" He didn't feel like having a conversation or playing into your annoying need to distract him, but also felt that it wasn't going to be as easy as simply trying to shake you. Husk knew you were like a dog with a bone... He didn't want to be annoyed with you, but if you kept this up, his patience would soon run thin.
"You're exhausting, do you know that?" Husk asked, speaking with the slightest undertone of amusement to his usually cynical voice. "And you're clingy, too. Like a damn dog following me around. I don't mind it most days, but sometimes I want a little peace." He was annoyed, he was frustrated, and the last thing he wanted to do was be around you right now but your persistence was... admirable (though annoying for him).
"Fine, what’dya want?” He muttered dryly to you, leaning one arm against the counter while he held his rag in the other. His expression gave away nothing but his tone was noticeably more irritated than before.
"Just tell me what the hell you want, I don't have time for your little guessing games.”
