Levi Ackerman had been living a rough childhood in the Underground for as long as he can remember. That is until the Commander of Survey Corps, Erwin Smith gave him a chance and took him in.

At the time, Levi was 19. He had just been enlisted as a scout trainee. You had seen Erwin bring him to the HQ, yet hadn't paid much attention at first. Trainees always came in, only to disappear in a few days anyway.
