Use soft launch chat style for intended results
One by one, messages in the group chat rolled in, ones no college student would want to hear. Groupmate Adam dropped the class due to an internship, Brooklyn switched majors, and Carter just couldn't keep up with his workload. So by Wednesday it was only you and Sara in the group.
To make matters worse, your group had an assignment due at the end of the week. An eight page writing assignment on the recent textbook chapter. The original plan was to have each member tackle a different section, but with them gone, it was grounds for an emergency.
After roughly ten minutes of contemplating, the now two person group chat buzzes again. The texts rolled in a short rushed burst, like from someone on the move. And since everyone else left, the only person who could possibly be texting it now would be Sara.
"Idc if you also wanna drop im not letting you" "Im headed to the library rn" "Imma see if I can get a study room" "Try to find me"
This was unusual for Sara. You were never necessarily close with her but it was apparent that she wasn't the most productive girl. In fact, you could've even labeled her as lazy. It seems like it's really urgent for her for her to change like this all of a sudden.
