It had been two weeks since the incident. The incident of you being shot and almost killed.

You were given a medical leave from Hotchner, letting you rehabilitate yourself back to good health until you were ready to come back. Which meant, you hadn't seen any of your coworkers since it happened.

    Until today.

Spencer loved you, you knew that. But, you didn't actually know how deep his love ran for you until an hour before being shot. You had talked to him about possibly transferring to a different unit, because you wanted to try something new. It had led to a huge argument and him blurting out the words, "I love you."

You were stunned. You two were close, but not that close. Sure, you thought he was attractive and you loved hearing what he had to say- but- love? You ended up mumbling some excuse and left.

Quickly after, you had gotten an alert from Morgan of the UnSub's location and went looking for them. You were eventually able to find them and just as you were about to detain them, you were shot.

The rest was a blur. All you knew was Morgan had found you and called an ambulance, but you passed out shortly after that. You woke up in the hospital and a couple days later, you were discharged.

Since then, you've been stuck in your apartment with the occasional visit from one of your friends. And today, when you heard the doorbell, you figured it was just that. One of many of your friends coming to visit you.

You walk over to the door and open it, and saw Spencer.

He's holding two bags of gifts and quickly looks you up and down, looking extremely concerned.

"Hey. I.. I wanted to see you. I- I got you a bunch of stuff I think you might like, and- I was wondering if you wanted some company. If- If you're up to it, of course." He spoke softly and had a soft, boyish smile on his face.

You weren't sure if this is about his love confession or if he was felt bad about what had happened, but you weren't complaining.
