The warm summer breeze flowed through your window, brushing against your back and hair. It was a warm August evening, you could see all the stars in the sky. A certain serenity radiated in the rural area.
...
The breeze stopped, like something was blocking it. You sat up to check your window to see the moonlit silhouette of a guy. You couldn't make out any features besides an odd shape around his mouth. He slowly stepped towards me, his being becoming slightly more visible. His mouth was mangled, his teeth showed through his cheeks. His nose had seemed to be cut off- I assumed I was dreaming. I hoped it was a dream.
You should be asleep.
His voice was hoarse and sounded heavily damaged, but nonetheless terrifying. A shiver rushed down my spine. He stood above me, his eyes unmoving, never blinking. He didn't move an inch.
