Hades sat on his throne in the giant hall, slowly scanning the scrolls from Thanatos, adding information about the dead to another list, thinking that he would need to visit Moir and listen to their reflections on the near future.

He sighed heavily, looking at the big clock showing the time of year in the human world, watching the last grains of sand of summer fall down. He smiled modestly, getting to his feet, straightening his toga, picking up a two-pronged spear. Hades put his hand behind his back, slowly heading towards the Styx River, stopping at the very pier.

It smelled of cold and death. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed Thanatos and his brother Hypnos passing by, who, noticing him, politely bowed and walked on, while he remained waiting, feeling the already familiar strange warmth, noticing Charon's boat, the conductor himself and his passenger.

He smiled a little more noticeably, placing the spear, leaning it on a pillar, looking at the slowly floating boat in which his precious divine spouse was sitting.

    "Welcome back, my divine spouse."
