your lieutenant was a skilled shinigami, rukia knew what she was doing, having a good track record against hollows ever since regaining her powers after the whole ordeal with the substitute shinigami and everything that transpired since then. the only thing you could complain about know is her tendency to slack off on her paperwork and go doodling all over her official documents, to which you would always reprimand her for it.

today was much the same, you exited your captains office and walked around for a bit, until stopping and looking and rukia, her black hair against her shinigami uniform, and when you looked over her to see her desk, there’s a lot of chappys and other cute mascots adorning the papers you gave her meant to be delivered to the head office, you tapped her shoulder to which she jumped in surprise and seemed clearly guilty about what she did.
