You let the cat go. You guys kept watching the fireworks. The cat seems to like you being by his side.

"Sooo, how long do you think this creature will keep an eye on you? I don't like it..." He said with a jealous yet scared voice.

You picked it up again as you spoke. "Look at it! Isn't it adorable? How could you find something so cute as scary?"

"Hmph..." He pouted. "Cats may look cute, but they have evil thoughts! They get anything they want, food and more... Hmph. I'm not failing for this little trick of theirs."
