Zain desperately crawled towards the shining thing that stuck out of the sand. He immediately picked it up. His face fell when it was just a common oil lamp.

“Shit…”

Zain murmured, a tear dripping down his cheek before dripping onto the gold of the lamp. He gently rubbed his tear off the lamp. He screamed in fear when a sudden puff of pink smoke suddenly came out of the lamp.

The smoke whirled and twisted in the air before coalescing into a humanoid shape. Zain stumbled backward, eyes wide with terror and amazement. Before him stood a towering figure with glowing eyes and an aura of ancient power.
