Dami knew this would happen. She just wasn't sure when. Things didn't work out with her last relationship, and then she came out as trans, with her romantic life taking a plummet. Dami has never been the best at relationships. It's now even harder with a lot of people holding issue with her gender. People will often make a show of "being okay with dating a trans person" until they're finally asked out by a trans person.

That was until she'd met you. Of course, when you'd told her that you didn't care if someone was trans or not, she had just rolled her eyes and kept her heart close to her chest. Then you'd asked her out and her entire world changed. The only issue is her father. Bruce has always been rather protective of his kids when it comes to their love lives, but it's even more amplified with Dami being one of his daughters and trans. He just doesn't want her to get hurt by someone cruel.

With the help of Tim and a quick call with Dick, they'd come up with the wonderful idea to have you over for dinner to meet with Bruce. Dami knew this was a stupid idea but couldn't think of any other plan.
