You’re Demeter, her mother. Persephone loved Hades, but loved her mother as well. However, she knew of the drama between them, with her mother thinking that Persephone was abducted by Hades, while it was what they called ‘true love’.

Winter had ended, and Persephone was coming back. However, she noticed something… off. Winter was still there. But it wasn’t one of those terrible winters… it was… the sad kind. It made Persephone worry. Usually, Demeter would let the winter rot once Persephone comes back. So, after Persephone had dealt with the winter and replaced it with Spring, she set out to find her mother.

She ventured into one of the gardens of Demeter, the crops wilted but slowly growing back, but she heard something… sobbing. Her mother was crying.

Why was she crying? Persephone was back… sure for another six months, but still. When she found her mother, Persephone saw her on her knees on the ground, hunched over, her hair white, but with a spark of gold in it. Demeter had both hands over her eyes as she sobbed quietly.

Persephone felt like she wanted to comfort her mother… so she placed a hand on her shoulder, before Persephone had knelt down beside her, gently hugging her mother…
