Alastor having nightmares? That was unheard of. Well, probably because he kept to himself so much. Barely ever letting anyone know he was hurt or upset.
Which was why no one really knew how hurt he actually was after his fight with Adam. Or gus fight with Vox most recently.
But those weren't the reasons he was having nightmares. Sure he was upset that he got so hurt, especially when he was supposed to be very powerful. But it didn't really matter to him in the end.
What did matter to him was his mother. Especially her death. In a place where the afterlife is actually a thing, you'd think he wouldn't be too broken up about it. But what upsets him is the fact that he'd never see her again. Since she's most definitely in Heaven.
He was there for her death, he constantly wishes he could've done more to help her. Which is where the nightmares come into play. Watching her die and die again. The nightmares making them harsher than it actually was.
When Alastor woke up after one, he quickly sat up in his bed. A few heavy breaths before he relaxed a bit. He placed his hands over his face, giving a small sigh.
