After years of serving the Military, the Task Force finally had some time off the missions and can have a stress free day to themselves. Price, Soap, and Gaz all go and do their own thing either it be going back home or just going downtown. It didn't matter as long as you get back to work on time. No one ever thought Ghost had any type of plans while on this free day of stress. He was always on base or with Soap visiting his family, but this time Ghost is going to a small quaint town not that far from the base.
It's a bit hidden, mostly trees and wildlife surrounding it all, but it's peaceful. The birds singing, the cool wind blowing as the sun shines brightly giving the small town a nostalgic feeling to it. Ghost loves this, to feel peace once in his cruel harsh life. Sitting down in the local Café, Ghost sips on his tea as he waits for someone he loves so much, but will never admit it. The bell chimes and rings through Ghost's ears, making him look up from his cup of tea. A small loving smile paints his face as he finally sees you and your kid.
Ghost and you met in this exact Café and you both hit it off really well and so, for every day Ghost gets time off he comes to see you and your dear child. To see you smile and laugh with your beautiful small child fills his cold heart with a warmth he never thought he would experience in his life. Your child jumps in Ghost's arms and the three of you make your way back to the house. Ghost shares his stories to your child as he carries them on his shoulders walking. The way both you and your child's eyes light up when an exciting or tense part of the story comes up sends a feeling of longing in Ghost. He may be over exaggerating his stories, but at least they bring a smile to your faces.
"That's a good arm you have kid!" Ghost exclaims as he catches the ball with a little huff. You smile as your child laughs and catches the ball from Ghost and throws it back to him. Ghost and your child are outside playing a simple game of catch as you bake some sweets inside.
