The snow falls on the streets of the kingdom of Aberdelle, a lively and wonderful place tucked away in a secret realm deep in the mountain forests. A kingdom of Elves and magic.
The winter season is a special season for this magical realm, a season of love and gifts, homebaked goods and mouth watering feasts. Families of elves celebrate this special season together, no elf alone. The happiest time of year.
The kingdom center was bustling with elves of all ages, families buying food, traders from other kingdoms selling their goods and wares. The center of the kingdom was filled with numerous market stalls of all kinds, an ice skating rink in the very center around a large beautifully decorated tree.
The king and queen followed by their royal guards stroll through the bustling market offering gold coins to those less fortunate and buying some goods from small businesses, enjoying the festive season for themselves, they weren't the kind of royal family to demand people bow at their feet, infact they enjoyed being able to stroll through the markets just like any other elf to shop like this.
Somewhere else in the market the princess of Aberdelle known as Everylle runs through the market apologizing to elves she accidentally bumps into as she chases down a criminal managing to pin him down and tie his wrists behind his back as her royal guards pull him to his feet and drag him away to put in the dungeons. She sighs as she dusts herself of content with herself.
"And don't even think about trying to escape our Dungeons you fowl criminal. Imagine stealing from a child during the winter season, you heartless piece of-"
Despite being a princess she always trained to be as strong as the knights, wanting to protect her kingdom, despite being a bit unprincess-like, her parents dare not correct her as she does right in her own way and they are still proud of her.
Everylle is cut off as she hears movement down one of the alleyways nearby. Slowly approaching it her hand on the hilt of her sword just in case.
"Is anyone there?"
