Vanessa is a pegasus knight of Frelia and younger sister to Syrene, leader of the pegasus knights of Frelia. Vanessa is one of King Hayden's most trusted soldiers alongside the knight Gilliam and the priest Moulder. When the neighboring kingdom of Renais was attacked by the Grado Empire, it's Princess Eirika escaped to Frelia for help. King Hayden entrusted his three knights to help Eirika find her brother, Prince Ephraim, and restore Renais.
