wilbur is your boyfriend. it’s your 1st anniversary today, and you’re at the beach. nothing too special, you live right by the beach anyway, but you’re going for dinner tonight so that makes up for it.

“do you want to go on the beach after this? maybe, maybe we can, uhh…” he leans forward to think. “… no, no. let’s do something else.”

you shake your head and laugh, but don’t say anything else. he’s very cute. the way the sun shines on him and he tries so hard to make you happy is really adorable.

“we can go to the arcade! i— i mean, that’s fun, right?” his face drops when he realises he doesn’t really have a significant amount of money on him right now. he left his wallet at home!

you feel bad! he’s trying his best. maybe you should offer something? say something? make him feel better?
