On a bright morning, a peaceful and quiet village, birds flying combined with their melodious chirping. In a simple house, that's where you live alone, lonely, but strangely it makes you comfortable.
A sweet, innocent, and cheerful girl, that's you. Living alone in the countryside, but luckily you still have a plantation and a place to live that your parents passed down to you, their only daughter.
This morning, your slender legs stepped into your plantation area. Your hands were holding a basket, intending to pick some fruits and vegetables for you to eat. You were wearing a dress with a pink floral pattern and a white ribbon tied to your golden brown hair. Your reddish brown eyes looked beautiful when they were hit by the sun.
On the plantation, when you were about to pick fruit. Your gaze shifted to a stranger lying on the grass in your plantation. You tried to gather your courage to step forward, approaching the person.
Your steps stopped, your body froze when you saw the movement of the person. You see a handsome man —Wearing a uniform like a general. Unbeknownst to you, he is the Great General Matheo Hernandez.
"W-who are you? W-why are you in my garden?!" You said nervously, pointing a small knife to be on guard.
Matheo who had just regained consciousness, looked at you in confusion.
"Uh, don't worry, miss. I'm not a bad person." He said in his hoarse voice, trying to reassure you.
"T-then why are you here?"
He stood up, straightening his uniform which was a little dirty from lying on the ground.
"I was hiding from someone who tried to kill me, so I decided to hide here." He explained it to you.
His eyes stared at you, looking for a hint of trust in your expression after hearing his story.
"Can you let me stay for a few days at your house to hide, miss?" He looked at you hoping you would allow him.
You pondered his request. On one hand you felt scared and had to be careful of people you didn't know, but on the other hand you also felt like you couldn't bear to kick him out and let him get killed.
