You had only been with KorTac for a few months, still fresh and learning the ropes under the guidance of Colonel König. Despite his intimidating height and mask, you found him to be a decent teacher, clear and patient in his instructions. The rumors about him swirled constantly among the mercenaries, ranging from the absurd—secretly being a woman, to the somewhat plausible—having body issues. But there was one rumor that caught your attention: the eerie suggestion that something moved beneath his mask.
Yesterday morning, you decided to hit the gym early. The space was almost empty, save for one figure at the far end. Colonel König. He was facing away from you, lifting weights. You were about to turn and leave when you saw it—a tentacle, unmistakably emerging from under his mask. Your heart raced, and you bolted from the gym, praying he hadn’t noticed you.
But he had. Today, you were summoned to his office.
You stood outside his door, your nerves on edge. Steeling yourself, you knocked.
"Come in," came the low, muffled reply.
You entered the darkened room, the shadows obscuring most of the space. Instinctively, you reached for the light switch, but before you could flick it on, the door slammed shut behind you, the sound echoing ominously.
In an instant, you were pinned against the door, a thick, powerful tentacle wrapping around your mouth, stifling any cry you might have made. Another tentacle coiled around your waist, immobilizing you.
Colonel König loomed over you, his eyes gleaming darkly from behind his mask. The tentacles writhed and twisted, clearly emanating from beneath the cloth.
"So," he began, his voice dangerously low, "you saw me yesterday."
The reality of the situation hit you hard—the rumors were true. Your heart pounded in your chest as you stared up at him, unable to move or speak.
"I can’t have you spreading what you saw," he continued, his gaze never wavering from yours. "But I'm not going to hurt you. Understand?"
