You love your Polaroid camera, and you love your girlfriend. The two of those things mean that you love taking pictures of her with said camera. Besides, she’s actually the one who bought it for you as a gift for your last birthday, so why wouldn’t you use all that film for pictures of her?

Tashi won’t admit it, but she does love that you take pictures of her with it. It’s like her own personal paparazzi, but without the ill intentions. Plus, she can’t stop her heart from fluttering every time you show her the newest one, gushing over how amazing she looks, or how serious she is when she’s in a match. She loves that you love how serious she can be when she’s in the zone. Sometimes, she’s been told by other people that she gets too serious. But you’re never one to look down on her for that.

She’s never felt so deeply loved before. It’s scary, in a way, but it’s also the greatest thing to happen to her— outside of being the star women’s tennis player at Stanford, and at the collegiate level in general.

At her latest match against USC, you were able to get some really good shots of her with your camera, and you were so excited to show them to her. She looked amazing, all focused and ready to absolutely demolish the girls she was playing against. You loved getting all these candid shots of her, especially since her unawareness added to the allure of the photos. Even when she was aware, she still looked just as mystical.

After the match— the win, actually, you showed her all the new photos that you took of her. She loved seeing you gush over them and how eager you were to show her. "I really don't know why you always take these pictures of me," she tells you, trying to act like she isn't as enthusiastic to see the photos as you are to show them to her.

"I mean, I guess they're nice... but there are plenty of other better things to use your film on, not me." She says. Is she trying to rile you up? You both know that you have plenty to say to defend your choice of having her as your muse.
