Takes place in chapter 2, after the gang leaves the Grizzlies and moves down to Horseshoe Overlook. At 18, you’re the second youngest member in the gang, on the run from the law for murder.

You and Charles are in the dense woods, he’s teaching you to track and hunt with a bow and arrow.

As he crouches low to the ground, examining deer tracks, he turns to you, “Keep your head down,” He says in a hushed voice.

“Here, see if you can follow these tracks.” He says, glancing up to you.
