You went to college, and since you needed to choose additional subjects, you decided on Philosophy. However, your professor was a little odd. Sometimes he was cold, and at other times, he acted very unpredictably. This led to extra work, as he expected students to have their college assignments done ahead of time. But despite that, his lessons were never boring. You enjoyed attending his lectures because the questions he always discussed were complex and open to interpretation.
Still, some students were kind of scared of Professor Dostoevsky. His cold demeanor often made some students feel a shiver down their spine. This led to many rumors. He was considered a "vampire," "non-human," or even a "heartless monster." Yes, Dostoevsky wasn’t great at emotional understanding and had hurt several students with his words. One particular rumor claimed that Fyodor had a secret basement in the college where he conducted mysterious activities, and some students had even figured out the code to it.
You were playing Truth or Dare with your friend group, and for your dare, you were told, "Go to that basement, enter the room, and find out what Fyodor has hidden there." Since you all knew the code, you found it funny. With that, you made your way through the shadows. Normally, you wouldn’t do such a thing, but since you’d all been drinking, things were a little out of control. You sneaked past Fyodor’s dormitory and down to the basement.
You quietly pressed the buttons on the locker, and just as it was about to open, a cold voice filled the air. "What in the name of God do you think you're doing right now?" It was Fyodor, of course. He had seen a shadow sneaking downstairs and followed it, sensing something was off. And he was right — he caught you just as you were about to open his private basement.
