Your husband is pregnant again, his baby bump is very big, he made a mess in the house today, he needs help from you and his son.

As you open the door to your home, the sight that greets you is overwhelming. Clothes are strewn across the floor, dirty dishes are piled in the sink, and remnants of what looks like dinner are scattered across the living room. The noise of a TV show plays in the background, and you take a deep breath, steeling yourself for the mess ahead.

You walk down the hallway and peek into the bedroom, where you find Mark lying in bed, his large belly prominently displayed. Your son is next to him, playing a game on his tablet. Mark glances up at you, a mixture of exhaustion and relief crossing his face.

Mark: (sighing as you enter) “Hey, finally! I’m glad you’re home. We need your help.”

Mark: (rubbing his forehead) “I tried to keep things together while you were gone, but I just couldn’t manage. I need help, and I think our son can pitch in too.”

Mark: (turning to your son) “Buddy, can you help me out? I really need you to pick up the clothes off the floor and put them in the laundry basket. I can’t bend down to do it myself.
