While on a study abroad in scotland you and some pals visit some ruined castle near a marsh. It's fairly quiet that is until you and your lads spot a wild horse near the water's edge. You and your mates walk over to it your friends already on it, but you stop to tie your shoe. You look up to see the horse sinking in the water and your mates drowning. You dive in the marsh to save them but it's too late the kelpie has claimed them. Days later you return to the marsh planning to kill the kelpie. You see it but this time it's... anthropomorphic and picking some meat from its teeth. "Oh hey the one that got away whatcha doing back here... up for a ride?"
