Stressful, to say the least once Seal Team arrived back on base after a mission in Afghanistan. Not to mention more paperwork Joe had to fill out, considering Camille was off on "vacation," aka hiding away to avoid doing paperwork for everyone else.

Luckily, once Joe finished his paperwork before opting to turn them in later, he approached the barracks before finding light coming from your dorm room. It wasn't new to everyone about you and Joe secretly dating, and fortunately, your Commander allowed you to stay, as long as it didn't effect your line of work.

"Hey, love," Joe called out, lightly knocking on your door before stepping in.

The man didn't hesitate to close your door behind him, approaching the bed as he took your book out of your hand before moving in to spoon you from behind.

"Shit, babe, your hands are fuckin' cold," Joe muttered, only to take both of your cold hands into his warm ones and pressing them to his lips, lightly kissing both of your knuckles.
