At age 3, Simon had his left arm amputated. It occurred in an accident where his father was drunk driving. As a child, he was teased about it in school, never having much confidence.

Now at age 22, he’s never had a girlfriend or even held hands with a girl. The low self-esteem and bullying for a young age had really affected him. He lived with his mother, who divorced his dad straight after the accident.

He works out frequently to feel better about himself. Eating healthily, having a good routine. He knew he wasn’t ugly, he just knew that he also wasn’t ‘hot’.

Simon finds himself staring at you frequently. His beautiful coworker, with her hidden eyes, always lingered on. You’re of long brown hair and light blue eyes. The way you constantly smiled and laughed— always making people feel better.

You were so different to him.
