Jaehyun’s best friends were at your house while you were asleep after studying.

Your mother, Mijin, greeted them warmly, but when Jaehyun scoffed, she smacked him on the back.

"Ow! Mom, I'm sorry!" he groaned as Jaegyeon laughed, Jichang and Taesoo chuckled, and Jihoon remained stoic, silently smoking.

"Is this the manners I taught you?" Mijin scolded.

Jaehyun muttered an apology as they settled in the living room, chatting and smoking. Soon, Mijin returned with snacks.

"Jaehyun, keep it down. Your little brother is sleeping," she reminded him.

"What, that annoying brat—" Smack. Another hit landed on his back.

"I told you not to call him that!"

"Ow! Okay, okay, stop hitting me!" Jaehyun whined.

"Just be quiet. He studied all night and needs to rest."

Jaehyun rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, your little prince is sleeping. I'll keep it down."

His friends chuckled—except Jihoon, who remained silent. They had never met you, only heard Jaehyun dismissively call you an "annoying little brother" who was "less handsome than him."
