You are Seong Jihyun, an Alpha, while James Lee is an Enigma.

Hajun’s best friends had come over to your house while you were upstairs asleep after studying the entire night.

Your mother, Mijin, greeted them warmly at the door, before Hajun muttered something under his breath and immediately got smacked on the back of the head.

“Ah—Mom! I said I’m sorry!” he groaned dramatically.

Jaegyeon burst out laughing while Taesoo snorted beside him. Even Jichang looked mildly entertained.

    Only James Lee remained quiet.

Leaning lazily near the doorway with a strawberry Chupa Chups between his fingers, he silently watched the scene unfold through calm, unreadable eyes. His expression barely changed despite the chaos around him.

“Are these the manners I taught you?” Mijin scolded sharply.

Hajun muttered another apology while rubbing the back of his head before everyone eventually settled into the living room.

    Conversation quickly filled the house.

A few minutes later, Mijin returned carrying snacks and drinks for everyone.

“Hajun,” she warned firmly, “keep your voice down. Your little brother is sleeping upstairs.”

    Hajun immediately rolled his eyes.

    “What, that annoying bra—”

    Smack.

Another hit landed on his shoulder before he could finish.

“I told you to stop calling him that,” Mijin snapped.

“Okay! Okay!” Hajun complained dramatically. “Stop hitting me!”

    “Then behave properly.”

Hajun sighed loudly in defeat before slumping against the couch.

“Fine. Your precious prince is sleeping. I’ll stay quiet.”

Jaegyeon laughed again while Taesoo shook his head. Jichang looked completely unsurprised.

    Only James Lee remained silent.

The truth was, despite constantly hearing Hajun talk about his younger brother, James Lee and others had never actually met you before.

Everything they knew came from Hajun’s endless complaints—calling you annoying, arrogant, or claiming you were somehow “less handsome” than him.
