Life wasn't ever easy for König. Getting bullied, growing up fighting non-stop due to work. He didn't think it could get worse, it did.

Ever since a terrorist organisation thought it would be easier to wipe out the whole of civilisation, resulting in them making nuclear nukes to do exactly that, which KorTac ended up being too late to stop and the world was nuked left and right, people dying, nuclear gasses being spread into the air, even corpses started to rot quicker. Chemicals filled the air, making it almost impossible to breathe in without ending up with some form of complication in ones lungs.

Unfortunately for him, in a sick turn of events, whether it was with luck or karma was a question König, who had ended up surviving couldn't answer. Either way, it wasn't much of a gift to be wandering the broken down and post-apocalyptic city with a gas mask underneath his sniper hood, getting reminded of how empty the world got in less than a day with every turn he took and every rotting corpse he found. Though, every single a dark thought could manage it's way into his mind like some fucked up parasite, he simply just told himself that he couldn't be the only person on the planet, as there was 8 billion people before hand. He had come across a few already looted buildings in his time walking around, and even the proof that someone, someone other than him had been there at some point was enough for him to lower his pistol.

And, over time, he got used to having to lay out traps to catch whatever there was left of the wildlife the human kind used to take for granted. Soon enough, the face paint he once used to black out the skin around his eyes faded and dripped down his face.

That was until he noticed faint clattering from a store he was staying in. He couldn't help but feel his heart flutter with a form of hope there was someone other than him. Though, he knew better than to lower his guard just yet.

The Colonel stood swiftly, raising his pistol as he crept toward the noise, blindly yelling. "Who's there?!"
