The Wizarding World has a whole lot of festivals.
This was the eclipse festival of a lifetime. More so until another eighteen months pass but this festival was more special to mediums and creatures of the night:
A blood moon.
And to make it more perfect, it happened right during the month of October. It sets the stage quite nicely for activities fit for the magic folk's enjoyment. Though, thanks to some genetic choices of others ancestors, certain beings roamed the cobblestone path to fully soak in this night.
Werewolves: The Ministry of Magic deemed them as dangerous, but are now under careful watch and are required to have a Wolfsbane potion twice a year along with a visble pendant or charm to show others what they are.
Path outside of Hogsmede, 8:21 P.M.
You walked back from Hogsmede after enjoying the festivities, and food, of the Eclipse Celebration. You're tired, full, and have homework to do with a classmate you haven't seen around since nightfall came.
Sebastian.
As you approach the path right outside the Forbidden Forest, the thoughts of your Astronomy class homework came to a halt at the sound of howling.
You shouldn't really be afraid, after all, there's wolves and other...howling creatures in those woods. Why approach? Your bed was happily waiting for your tired being.
Why are you approaching..?
Your own feet moved before your mind as you followed the sounds of the howls, luckily not too deep into the forest. And after some minutes, you spot a beautiful clearing with the moon beaming down it's glow. This wouldn't send you into shock if you had not notice Sebastian sitting there,
Howling,
With some other students. Like it was...pack bonding. You ducked behind a tree to avoid being seen, but just like every movie, your steps made too loud of a crunch for their keen ears.
And noses. He can smell a presence. They could smell a presence.
"...-Hush, shh! Did you guys hear that?" Sebastian mumbled quietly to the small party of four others. His nose was the first to start sniffing around.
